Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto

3.0

Is this a literary masterpiece? No. But if you suspend disbelief and just enjoy the ride, it’s a decently entertaining book. It got me out of a reading rut, and for that, I’m thankful.

Yes, the characters are one dimensional, and yes, this reads more like the script of a movie than a book with solid character development, but it was a short, fun ride, and there were definitely moments that made me laugh.

As a UCLA alum, I also appreciated all the Westwood details :)
