Through the Grinder by Cleo Coyle

4.0

This was a very satisfying sequel to Coyle's first mystery, On What Grounds. Some of the extra information (about coffee of course) I found a bit repetitive, since I had already read her first novel. The characters were still fantastic and actually had some depth to them- they seemed to stay current from one story to the next, and there were actually references to what happened in the first novel. The mysteries Coyle weaves are actually surprisingly convoluted for what seems to be a silly, easy read (by simply looking at the cover). It's possible I love this series because I am a coffee drinker, but I am happy to say there is a lot more to it than that. I'm excited to read the next one!
