The Pigeon Wants a Puppy!
by Mo Willems
I can't get enough Mo Willems, and this book is no exception. The pigeon, despite being the simplest-drawn of characters, is as expressive as ever with just a mere widening of the eye or the crook of a leg. Endearing and hilarious. The list on the title page is my favorite part, what with the inclusion of "Anything suede" and "A variety of cheeses". Willems can do no wrong in my eyes.
