All Through the Night by Suzanne Brockmann

2.0

I'd never read any of Brockmann's work before, but since this was a gay romance, I thought I'd give it a try. While I found the characters to be likeable enough, I didn't believe their relationship. The writing didn't impress me (in fact, I laughed at a few select paragraphs), and the plot was kind of boring. There was no sex, just the intimation of it (and even then, it was only hours after one of the guys had food poisoning--seriously, Suz? no.), which was okay in a way because it showed there is more to gay men than sex, but was disappointing for a romance novel. Bottom line: women should not attempt to write male-male romances.
