The Last Emperox
by John Scalzi
Ah, Scalzi...
I really loved this series and its character up to that underwhelming turning point in this last book.
Had it been the WTF moment alone, I could have dealt with it and moved on. But the entire ending felt rushed, and didn't seem to do the characters justice. Which is a pity, because things had been going well until then.
Wheaton's performance was great as usual, and that made me enjoy this one a little more in audio than on Kindle.
