I originally picked up this book based on a recommendation that readers who liked “Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine” may also enjoy this book, but fell in love with it on it’s own. Part carpe diem and part healing from grief, it was a beautifully written and heartwarming story that made me both laugh and cry. Centering around a 36 year old woman who’s been avoiding life by caring for the dying, it blooms into a beautiful world of new friendships, found family, and healing from trauma. This book is perfect for a cozy day of reading and I have a feeling it will stick with me for awhile.
