Mud Vein by Tarryn Fisher

So far, this is my least favourite book of Tarryn's which I wasn't expecting as the blurb was honestly exactly what I was after. I went into this book thinking it was one thing but it was something completely different.
I thought, for the most part, the book moved at a steady pace but I will say, the beginning and the end were the slowest parts of the book. I was confused through a lot of the book and now I've finished it, I'm still not 100% sure I understand what happened.
I really liked Isaac which is probably why I kept reading this one and Senna was honestly an unlikeable character. She was neurotic and didn't make logical choices but considering what she has gone through, I could understand to an extent. But there was something before anything even happened that I didn't like about her.
I think the second part of this book was the best and we got some answers that the reader desperately needed for this book to make any sense.

I'm not really sure how else to review this book because I don't really know what it was about. This book did have it's strengths - the writing, the character development, the middle section, but overall it felt chaotic and definitely isn't a favourite of Tarryn's.
