Following from the cliffhanger ending of the previous book, Mera wakes to find herself back in Torma. With her memories of her time with the Shadow Beast, Mera feels unsettled and sets about finding the truth.
This was a fantastic ending to the series. I laughed many times and even cried throughout the book.
The plot, world building and character development was on point during the whole series for me. Nothing felt forced, cliched or overused. It was an easy read and one I'll definitely return to.
