    This book was one of my most anticipated reads of 2023. I pretty sure my hopes were way too high when it came to this book. Going into it I thought it was going to be like the hunger games but with chess and riddles. I was very wrong...

     At the beginning I was supper disappointed, like I said I thought they were going to battle out for the money hunger games style. I didn't really feel that entertained. Once I got over the way too high expectations, I started to enjoy the book. 

     I really enjoyed the story. The main plot was super entertaining once you actually get into the book. I loved wondering and guessing along with the characters. I thought the author did a very good job making some of the characters that I felt should be snobby because they are rich snobby. I feel like money could really get to a person's head. Hopefully the money doesn't get to Avery.

     The question of the day team Grayson or Jamieson.... To be % honest I am on the fence. I have a feeling I will know maybe by the last book but right now I have no idea. I low key am rooting for both of them.

     Starting the second book right away!
