Wildest Dreams by Kristen Ashley
4.0

I really enjoyed this book. After reading Three Wishes by Kristen Ashley, I was excited to jump into another of her fantasy romances and Wildest Dreams did not disappoint. I go into a more in-depth review on my blog, but here is the run down:

The characters and plot are believable. When Finny comes across a cultural difference between her world and Fantasyland, it makes sense and nothing seems out of place. Finny and Drakkar's character traits fit with the world they live in and even when things seem to clash, they get sorted out pretty quickly.

The tension was real. Unlike with Three Wishes, when misunderstandings happened they were solved rather quickly and when tension was drawn out it was because there was actual tension to be felt, not just the fact that the characters weren't talking to one another.

The only downside was the time jumps. Some of them were for long periods of time where I feel there could have been a few more scenes in between to really nail down the characters, plot, and overarching narrative of the country being in trouble.

Would recommend you pick this up and read it.
