Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson

5.0

Loved this different take on writing by Brandon. The narration and storytelling was very fun and I found myself chuckling along with Hoid's comments throughout. I really enjoyed Tress's character, one that didn't feel like she was trying to overcompensate and was just generally likeable. To me, though, the stars of the show were the rest of the characters. Finding out bits about them and learning about their motivations was largely what kept me turning pages and struggling to put it down. Excellent read and looking forward to the next projects!
