Great follow up to Fourth Wing. I knew a lot of people said this one was much slower and harder to get through than Fourth Wing, but I didn’t find it to be! Sure, it was less action packed than FW, but still had great plot and gave a lot of background that was necessary to understand the revolution. It didn’t seem to lull that much, because even the less plot driven areas were informative and got you thinking about the meaning of things. I love how these books give subtle foreshadowing where you can tell something is important or you’re sus about something, but you don’t know ~why~ yet or can’t predict where it’s going to lead but know it’s something!
