That ending!!😭 I didn’t expect to be on the verge of tears when finishing this one but I was. While this book took me a while to get into, the last half was definitely hard to put down! I found the color power concept really cool and original as well as the historical aspect. Fantasy isn’t my go-to genre but Nadine’s writing is just so good and her stories grab my attention. Overall, Fawkes was a pretty epic historical fantasy!
