I read the trigger warnings. And I'll be honest, a lot of these warnings would have turned me away if this were any other author. But this is Jenny (Trout writing as Abigail Barnette) and I trusted her.
This trust was not misplaced. What a ride! I discovered that it's possible to be horrified and turned on at the same time. In chapter ten. When there was still so much book left.
I don't want to spoil a single damn thing. But I will say that if you read ACOTAR and wondered where the spice, plot, and good writing was...it's here, in this book. This is the fairy porn you've been looking for.
And damn, I got so into the lore of Fablemere too that after binging this delightfulness I trotted with a spring in my step over to Jenny's Patreon to binge the rest of the books in that world.
(Seriously though, mind the trigger warnings, they are not messing around!)
