Diary of a Worm by Doreen Cronin

4.0

Worm shares their adventures through their diary. We see them discuss school, friends, and family. I liked the subtle humor in the book the best, such as when they did the hokey-pokey and they could only put their heads in and out. The illustrations are also quite vibrant. Cute.

For: worm fans; readers looking for a humorous book; readers looking for an early diary-format book.

Possible red flags: teasing siblings; fighting with friends.
