This was different than the books that I normally read, in the sense that yes, it definitely was a thriller, absolutely. But, it had a wee bit of a fantasy/castle + romance interwoven. It gave it a bit of a modern historical vibe. I’d say it was a medium-fast paced book. It definitely picked up at the end.
