I feel like I’ve been a part of a group of girlfriends like the ones in the book, but thankfully, it wasn’t quite the sinister experience this was. Much like those friend groups in real life, one friend is a manipulative, attention seeking queen bee. Lucinda nailed it with the girls making up this group, and took us on a traumatic journey spanning decades. Excellent read, especially since it’s summer!
