Loved this heart-wrenching novel about love, loss, finding yourself, and learning to love again. Lydia Bird is a likeable character, but with flaws that are center-stage. You can't help but feel for her and what she goes through. Silver does an excellent job of delving into the stages of grief, how different people handle grief, and how it can be overcome, not through time, but through real healing.

Great story and the ending was well-deserved after I found myself crying through 3/4 of the book.
