I love love love this book and keep it on my bedside table. This Buddhist monk gives us such simple little bits of advice to remember the blessings of each day. It's written in short, one or two page sections, to be read in any order. One of my favorites is when he talks about how nice it is not to have a toothache. We tend to appreciate health only when we experience discomfort, but every day we can be thankful that we can breathe easily, or move without pain. When I'm feeling dissatisfied with life, it's a nice reminder to run through all the things in my life that aren't wrong! Today - no toothache! No bachache! No sore throat! Woohoo!
