Four years later, I think I finally have to admit this this is just not finished. I think the audio was too hard for me to follow - I would like to try again on the page. With such an all star group of writers, i have a feeling I'll love it eventually!
4/16/23: even more years later: I was right about needing it on the page. There was too much worldbuilding and too many characters and more complexity than I could track on audio, but once I had it on the page I raced through it in a day and was completely invested. Now I have to see if I can find season 3 as text or if I should try again on audio now that I've got the characters, context, and world under my belt.
And holy shit, what an intense story. I'm reeling a little bit. Readers who like moral ambiguity and no good choices -- in the context of some complicated space/futurific universe building -- give this a try on the page if the audio didn't grab you.
