The Rules of Inheritance by Claire Bidwell Smith

2.0

Not really sure why I bothered finishing this extremely poorly edited memoir, which is organized around the five stages of grief. It’s all written in present tense; the chronology jumps around for reasons that are unclear to me; it’s full of what appears to be unintentional repetition; and the voice in the last section suddenly switches to that of the grief counselor Bidwell-Smith has become. Do not recommend.
