The Owner of His Heart: 50 Loving States, Pennsylvania by Theodora Taylor

--I was given a copy of this audiobook for an honest review.

This was a fun quick listen. It has a little bit of everything, passion, intrigue, suspense, family issues all rolled up in to one! The relationship between Layla and Nathan is sizzling from the very start. The fact that Layla is unable to remember Nathan, or his twin brother Andrew does lead you to believe that Nathan is up to no good for most of the book. Nathan is the kind of controlling man that you just want to fix, and I think Layla, while the damsel in distress handles him very well. It is nice to see a heroine that while needing a little rescue is not totally helpless. When Andrew comes back into the picture, I became a little concerned about where Nathan and Layla would end up(I knew where I wanted her to end up), and the twist of who was stalking her and wanting her to leave was quite surprising.

Leyna Baltimore's portrayal of the characters was spot on for me. I enjoyed the passion and emotion in her voices and could easily tell each character apart. A fun read!
