Alice Freeney is an amazing author and every time I read her books I want to immediately start over and read it again now that I know the twist. The characters and plot were unique, and the narrator was excellent. I should have read the trigger warnings before starting this book and I caution other readers to do it. There is a graphic r@pe scene that may be triggering or disturbing to readers and scenes of physical violence and stalking. This book was a trip from start to finish.
Graphic: Miscarriage, Panic attacks/disorders, Physical abuse, Rape, Sexual violence, Toxic relationship, Car accident
Moderate: Medical trauma, Stalking, Death of parent, Murder, Schizophrenia/Psychosis
