This was a hard book to read. It is an objective, well-researched, well-written book on the consequences of fracking and the effect on several families in Amity, PA. The area is near where I live and at times, I have had acquaintances living in that area. The story focuses on Stacey Haney and her family, though other families are also featured. In addition to the scientific and legal aspects, the author explores the family, political and historical aspects of the region.
