I found this book very entertaining. It was even better than the first one in the series.
There was no jumping around on the timeline. The characters are even more developed and complex than in the first of the series. The battles are intense and I found myself reading eagerly to find out the outcome.
I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys an intense story that incorporates magic, violence, lust, and betrayal. While it can be read as a stand alone, I would recommend that you read the first in the series to better understand the characters and story line.
