This book absolutely broke me.
Powerfully thought-provoking, and hauntingly dark, The Ocean at the End of the Lane explores childhood memories, including both the lightest and darkest moments.
Gaiman is a master at world-building, and his work honestly stands alone. It's hard to compare it to anything else but his own. His writing style pulls you into the deep end, and I know this book is going to stick with me for a very long time.
