I don't usually review books on my Facebook, but considering I have many girls' mums on here, it's an important share.
The book presents the current transgender craze as a social contagion in a very compassionate manner. It's loaded with research, statistics and case stories that
challenge the current 'gender affirmative' model.
Over the last 15 years, there's been a 4000% increase of teenage girls with gender dysphoria and no one is asking why it's happening. 30 years ago 80% of dysphoric individuals were born male and presented distress from childhood. What's happening right now is huge numbers of girls who never suffered gender related distress until hitting puberty. Many of them autistic or suffering with various mental health issues, adopting 'trans' identity after being exposed to it via social media or at school.
These girls are suffering and affirmative care model pushes them into one direction only, creating irreversible harms.
If you have a daughter, you need to read this.
