This was a good procedural mystery with some emotional tropes thrown in. I wanted to know the characters a bit better. The author let me know a bit about all of them, which was too many for me. It made sense since they were all suspects or investigators, but I found that I often forgot what it was about this particular person that made them a suspect. It was an interesting and sad story.
