I went into this novel expecting great things because of the hype surrounding this book. Unfortunately, I was disappointed which is why it gets a 3 star rating.

I alternated between the audiobook and the physical book. The audio book was very well done, with a full cast.

The book alternated between the main characters perspective and a podcast. I really enjoyed the writing although I did find it made the book seem longer than it actually was. That may be caused by the alternating between quick podcast format and the longer chapters in Sadie's perspective. Overall, the writing was very good.

The story was interesting because of the perspectives on the situation from people in different walks of life. Additionally, the story is heartbreaking, disturbing and raw.

I really wish there was a closed ending because I have no idea how this ends which was frustrating but also very realistic.

Overall, it was good but not as good as I expected it to be.
