A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes
3.0
I'm not entirely sure how it was possible that I did not love this book to the extent than I thought I would. I love everything Greek Mythology and I was enticed to finally hear a the side of these women during the Trojan war.
The part that I most enjoyed was the recounting and the tracing of how this all started all the way back--even further back from the golden apple scene--but I guess my enjoyment of this book stopped after that. Some of the POVs were a hassle to get through. There was a lot of repeat mentions of certain events for context. But some of the stories were very refreshing to learn about.
I would definitely recommend for Greek Mythology fans out there.
