We finished it! It was dark and wonderful. Emmett wanted me to read it a lot more often than I thought to reach for it. He definitely has a taste in books. He has already picked out the next one. I haven’t read Gary Paulsen since middle school, so seeing this was fairly recent, his last published before he passed, I was glad he picked it.
