v cute! I gotta hand it to Jimenez, this book got a few genuinely earned giggles out of me (they were all for Leigh tho)
I also really appreciated that actual professionals on trauma and mental illness were consulted in this book -- it definitely made a difference in how the subject manner was handled and delivered which is always nice to see
the relationship was cute, Justin and Emma were cute, but what in the TELENOVELA was that BOMB of plot for Emma n her mom???? i got such whiplash that I actually had to call a friend to relay what had just happened cause how do you weasel in that amount of drama in a romcom book? ngl it kinda stole the show for me
