Round up to 4.75. I wanted fast paced cinematic space opera with light political intrigue and aliens and that's exactly what this serves.  Sometimes the physics is a little beyond me but it was nice having to work some to grasp it. Character development is slow for some but I hope it'll build with the next books.  Highly recommend.
