The Black Dahlia
by James Ellroy
With a style of its own, James Ellroy creates a dreary atmosphere about an unspeakable crime, with characters as flawed as they can be. It has a lot of amazing plot twists, good story and many interesting characters.
The reason I don't give it five stars is that I found it a bit too long for my taste, sometimes forcing me through some chapters, and the other reason is that the end was more packed with twists were thrown for more awe & shock.
