Josh and Hazel's Guide to Not Dating
by Christina Lauren
Was this a complex plot? No. Was it predictable? Mostly. Did the characters have enough depth? Juuuuuust barely: But this was just delightful, and it turned the trope of the “manic pixie dream girl” on its head and made her the main character. It’s hard to not enjoy this book. I also loved that the leading man was Asian, which is a rarity in Western popular culture. I couldn’t help but enjoy this book. It’s just fun and delightful.
