At a certain point, girl, if a guy keeps having to make big apologies to you--he's got an anger issue and maybe you should discuss that at least a little.

Also, I don't like age gaps. Characters always convince me, yep, you're right. Age gap too big. 22 to 34 is wildly different life stages given their lives. This was glossed over, too. Everyone in the book had successful age gap relationships, which really, not a sign it's a good idea, maybe a sign you're unwittingly in a cult.

All that said, this wasn't terrible.
I'm not sure if this needs a spoiler tag--we all know a romance will end with a Happily Ever After. But, I found myself rooting for a Happy Memories ending. This didn't really need them to get together. They could have parted as friends with happy memories of their time together as they pursued lives in different states. They could have been great friends--a friend relationship would have been more believable, and honestly, happier, to me for their ending. I found myself disappointed they ended up together. Ah well.
