One Last Job
by Anise Starre
I want to start by saying that this book made my heart flutter.
Once again, when I thought I had enough book boyfriends, I found the most perfect fictional man created on earth.
And let me tell you, Finn Hawthorne is too much to handle.
It took me quite a while to read this book, and not because of the plot or the characters (which by the way are wonderful) but every couple of pages I had to take a break because I kept giggling and kicking my feet for Finn and Amber.
This is the perfect summer read, I really enjoyed how Amber and Finn actually communicated, I hate the miscommunication trope so much, and it felt very realistic since both of them are adults, and I'm this because in many other books that I stumbled across, most mc don't act like their age.
The plot is so nice, not that I doubted it, I had the great opportunity to read the first book of the series as well, so I was certain that I would like Amber and Finn, as much, if not even more than Cash and Bailey.
For me this is one of the cutest romance books I've read, not necessarily filled with useless drama to add to the plot, but with a healthy relationship, plenty of communication and actual understanding, and obviously loads of banter!
