The Whispering Room by Dean Koontz
4.0

This sequel is just as good, if not better than the original Silent Corner. It continues immediately from where the first book ended with Jane Hawk trying to "right" all the wrongs. And yet not much is resolved in this book. However, I still enjoyed Jane's escapades with her new "partner" and I was heartbroken by some of the developments throughout the book. I'm really enjoying Dean Koontz' writing style, although I do understand how some readers can be put off by his vocabulary. And he definitely knows how to leave a cliffhanger since I can't wait to read the next one to see what happens!
