Completely unrelated to the story, but who chooses these covers?? Makes it very awkward to read the book in public when I swear to God, it's a pretty innocent one. Like yeah, there's sex, but it's not erotica like the cover makes it seem!
Right, now that that's done with, on with my review:
I really enjoyed reading "Cop Out". Books like this usually come with double POV, if not more, so just one POV was surprising but it certainly worked. I liked all the characters, the writing and I found the story interesting and easy to follow. I also enjoyed how it was about more than just being gay, how it was about family and friendship, moving on, and it had a wonderful secondary cast as well.
