The Trickster's Lover by Samantha MacLeod

4.0

I really enjoyed this book because I felt like the main character was real in that she wasn't a helpless, virginal, wide eyed little girl that seems to be the norm in so many books these days. It is a little cliche in spots, but they are tried and true cliches so why not run with them? The books is well written, and is just fun. Like a grown up fairy tale.

SpoilerMy only real problem with it, and it almost cause me to take off a star was how Odin and Thor spoke to her. The whore part, ok, I kinda get it, but cussing was out of place. At least to me. And the trial was mortifying and honestly it's hard to feel bad about any of them being dead now *lol*
