Leaving Halberd Peak took me on the biggest emotional roller coaster. Rowan has a knack for writing in such away that makes you feel like you’re there. I laughed, I cried, I cursed the author for making me feel all the feelings so deeply. I loved how Gretchen challenged Sam, how Sam grounded Gretchen. Their chemistry is unmatched, and the spice is *chef’s kiss* It was the best kind of slow burn.
