Horror Heights is a strange town. Odd things keep happening to the students in one particular class. Bec Hill has collected their creepy stories and is trying to see if their terrifying encounters are linked, or maybe everyone just had an unlucky weekend.
Connie isn't logical like her friend Nat, or athletic like her friend Allyce, all she has is her slime collection...well, okay, her teacher has confiscated most of the collection, but still Connie is known as "The Queen of Slime" at school and that is something, at least.
When a home slime making goes wrong Connie dumps it in the bin and worries that her title might be slipping away from her but it turns out Connie has more skills than anyone realised because the next morning her slime greets her from her pillow! She has accidentally created walking, talking, sentient slime...and it loves her! It wants to spend every moment with her. She won't be needing any other friends now...
