The Times I Knew I Was Gay
by Eleanor Crewes
lighthearted
fast-paced
For a book about lesbians, there was a huge chunk dedicated to men, which is understandable and I won’t knock the author for their experience because it is something I have also struggled with. I wish more time was spent diving into the author’s feelings while she was in therapy, or when she started dating women. The second half of the book felt like a speed-run of queerness to get to a happy ending that was barely explored.
