4.5 stars. I got an arc of this book. I have enjoyed everything I have read so far by Helena Hunting. I am not a super fan of LOTR but you don't have to be to enjoy the story. My favorite parts were her telling off the bullies; something I always wished I had the courage to do when I was younger. I also loved the family lunch scene. I was laughing so hard! Themes in this book include hockey player and LOTR fanfic writer, accidental roommates, opposites attract, secret crush, he's obsessed with her, virgin heroine and only one bed. Definitely recommend!
