As someone who simultaneously prides themselves on always figuring the twist out while also despising that I’m never surprised…this one got me.
And not just once but over and over again all in the last few chapters.
How anyone can give this book a 2 star rating is beyond me. I read it in 24 hours and more than once set it down just to let my brain process or to catch my breath. Definitely looking forward to reading more works by this author.
