I still think I love Gus and Teddy’s book best, but this one was a close second. I read this one right after finishing Left of Forever by Tarah Dewitt and let me tell you: cowboys who pine for their first love forever are just *IT* - also, Connor Crais is so so perfect.
I love how devoted Dusty was to Cam for the entirety of their relationship (and I mean 15 years, not just when they reconnected). It’s so sweet to see someone try so hard. However, I was a bit annoyedby the fact that it felt like their separation was never really clearly explained in detail and we still don’t really have the details on Riley - was she from a one night stand?
All this aside, it was a nice end to Rebel Blue and the bonus wedding scene for Emmy and Luke was nice. I wasn’t crying in the rain listening to all the Ryders talk to Stella beforehand…
