The Last Days of Night
by Graham Moore
A very readable tale about barons of industry at the turn of the 20th century, and the legal and innovation battles in electrifying American cities. I found parts of the fictionalized dialogue anachronistic--some of the characters acted or spoke in ways that felt too modern for a story set in the late 1800's. But I still really enjoyed the book and especially learning about Edison, Westinghouse, Tesla, Cravath, and the story of electricity.
