A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

Stay with the High Lord.

I, too, want to stay with the High Lord of the Night Court. Shit, I cried my eyes out over this one. I never expected to love this series as much as I do right now. After disliking Throne of Glass I put off reading this for ages, but a couple of weeks ago I finally gave in and... well, thank the Cauldron I did. I absolutely loved all three books of the first trilogy, especially the second and third book. ACOTAR was good, but ACOMAF and ACOWAR were absolutely fantastic. I raced through them, couldn't put them down. I fell in love with Prythian, with the Night Court, with all the characters and their wildly different personalities, storylines and powers. But especially with Rhys, my new favourite book boyfriend. UGH. How can anyone ever compare? Call me basic for loving him, for being obsessed with Feysand but... I don't care. I love them.

Like I said before: I'm not a big fan of binge reading, but I'm glad I did with this series (and I'm not finished yet, I still have ACOFAS and ACOSF left). So sorry for everyone who had to wait ages for the next book to come out. I absolutely LOVED being part of this world, to just... barrel through it without interruption, being fully imerged in it. Can't way to see where the story takes me next, what my favourite characters are going to do next, how they inevitably will save the world again. Really happy and relieved I gave miss SJM another chance. Maybe, just maybe, I'll have to give TOG another chance as well.
