Thank you Quirk Books for this advanced copy!! This came out June 4th and y’all should get your hands on this buzzy new thriller. This was super solid and I can’t believe it’s Muenter’s debut!

Hazel has never approved of her younger sister Evie’s influencer life. She wanted to protect her little sister from the world, social media, and their mother making all of these brand deals for her. When Evie suddenly vanishes, Hazel has a lot of questions. And she realizes there’s so much she didn’t know about Evie.

I’m not a listener of Muenter’s podcast “Bad on Paper,” but I’ve heard great things about it from friends and have to check it out. This was a solid thriller with deeper themes explored such as consent on social media, the boundaries of parenthood, and grief. This wasn’t a fast paced thriller plot wise but I was really intrigued as to where it would go and I didn’t see some plot twists coming. I can’t wait to read what Muenter writes next!
