In the world of romance books, this was a refreshing read! I liked that Stella was autistic. Her honesty and how she lived her life was interesting to me. I also liked that in the other corner, we have Michael, an escort. (wat!) Now that's a new mix for me. I liked their chemistry (for theee mooost part) and the spice was nice.

Michael started off interesting but NGL I found his character getting less appealing by the end. (loved his Vietnamese family though.) My interest fizzled near the last third of the read or so. Drama and lack of communication.. you know, the usual, and that got annoying to get through. And I feel like the writing was lacking just a little bit to help make this read hit right. But it's okay, because this was still cute and wrapped up nicely (though way too nicely IMO)

I listened to the audiobook and this was my first time listening to Carly Robbins. Her voice just didn't vibe for me but YMMV of course.

Also, fact, confirmed by this book: mint chocolate chip is the best ice cream flavour.
